About the event
I partnered with Vacancy storefront in downtown Ann Arbor to put on a live "paint". During this event, I worked on the painting "Mo' Faces" in store. The work itself was already painted, and dry, but not quite finished. During this event, spectators were invited in to the store to watch me cut my work into different sections, sew it back together, and fit it in an archaic frame that I painted. This work was later featured in the Gutman Gallery's EMERGE Exhibit. See a short video of the whole process here.
